Wine Journey to Piemonte in Italy - October 2026

Expect three days with an authentic Italian winemaker’s experience. On this journey you will have some of the best wines in the world, combined with food made of locally grown ingredients. We hope that the white Alba Truffle is in season during our stay and that we can try this extraordinary food together.

We will be based out of Castiglione Falletto. A small charming town surrounded by some extraordinary wine makers in the region.

We will stay at the hotel named Le Torri.

Recommended travel route
Castiglione Falletto is a 2,5 hours drive from Milan and a vehicle will be waiting for us at the Milano Malpensa airport. We recommend that you book either of the two below flight options from Oslo on the dates indicated above:

Norwegian 11:00-13:40, return flight 14:20-17:00.

SAS 07:50-10:30, return flight 12:10-14:50

Schedule

  • We depart from Oslo in the morning. Arriving at Milan Malpensa airport either at 10:30 or 13:40 (depending on flight). A pre-booked vehicle will take us to Castiglione Falletto in Piemonte.

    18:30 Introduction to Piemonte and the wines of the region with an aperitif prior to dinner.

    19:30 Dinner at Le Torri.

  • 08:00-09:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

    Morning walk in the area to have a view of the landscape.

    11:30-13:00 Winery visit to Sobrero where we get a guided tour of the winery and try the wines they have produced in generations.

    13:30-14:30 Lunch in Castiglione Falletto.

    Free time to explore the town of Castiglione Falletto.

    18:00-19:00 Wine tasting with Tore.

    19:00 Dinner at Convino.

  • 08:00-09:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

    09:00 Travel to La Morra to explore the streets and enjoy the views.

    12:00-13:30 Wine tasting at Mauro Molino.

    14:00-15:00 Lunch in Castiglione Falletto.

    Free time to explore the surroundings.

    19:30 Dinner at L’Argaj.

  • 08:00-09:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

    10:00-11:30 Wine tasting with Tore.

    12:00-13:30 Lunch in Castiglione Falletto.

    13:30 We walk to Barolo town, a journey through the vineyards. Barolo is a pretty hilltop town, with a medieval feel to it and stunning views over the extensive vineyards of this area.

    15:00-16:30 Wine tasting at Borgogno.

    16:30-19:00 Free time to explore Barolo town. Here you can visit the Falletti Castle built in the 10th century, holding an international wine museum, WiMu. Barolo has many cafés and shops to visit, as well as beautiful streets to walk.

    19:00-21:00 Dinner at a local pizzeria in Barolo town.

    21:00 Travel back to hotel with a pre-booked vehicle.

  • Breakfast at the hotel.

    07:30 or 09:45 Departure from the hotel. Pre-booked bus driving us to Milan Malpensa airport

    10:00 or 12:15 Arrival at Milan Malpensa airport.

  • Winery visits with some of the best wine makers in the region. These tastings will include exclusive Barolos for us to try
